Early life
Born and brought up in
Rajasthan , Sudha Shivpuri started her career early, when she was in the eighth standard in school. Her father had died, and her mother had fallen ill, thus the ones of earning a living for the family came on to her, and so she started acting in plays. She joined

National School of Drama ,New Delhi , and when they graduated in 1964, they joined the recently formed NSD Repertory Company, as actors; Om Shivpuri became its first Chief as well.
