Shah Mohammed Ziaur Rahman

Air Marshal Shah Mohammed Ziaur Rahman ( born 1955) is the current air force chief of the Bangladesh Air Force.

Ziaur Rahman was promoted from air commodore to air vice-marshal and appointed as air force chief on 8 April 2007. [http://www.accessmylibrary.com/coms2/summary_0286-30162499_ITM] Just over a month later, his post was upgraded to 3 star rank and he was promoted to air marshal on 26 May 2007.

After the crash of the BAF training aircraft in which Flight Cadet Faisal Mahmood was killed, Ziaur Rahman visited the site of the crash.
