Themelo (Greek, Modern: Θέμελο, Katharevoussa: "-on") is a village in the municipality of
Fanari in thePreveza prefecture in the region of Epirus, in westernGreece . Its 2001 population was 322 for the village and 404 for the municipal district. Until the early 20th century, the village was known as Tabani, Tampani or Tambani (Ταμπάνι).ubdivision
