Steven Berlin Johnson (born
June 6 ,1968 ) is an Americanpopular science author . He has worked as a columnist for magazines such as "Discover Magazine ", "Slate ", and "Wired". He is a Distinguished Writer In Residence atNew York University and he co-founded the early webzineFeed Magazine in 1995. He has published five books:
