Early life

He was enrolled at S.C.D. Barfiwalla high school for primary and secondary education. Later he joined the Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics for further studies. He graduated from the Bombay University with a bachelor of commerce in 1999.

Martial arts and development

Mehul Vora started his initial training in Gojukai Karate-Do Yamaguchi-ha, [ [http://www.gojuryu.net All Gojuryu Network - Goju Ryu Karate Do - Martial Art of Okinawa Japan - News ] ] under the Indian Shibucho Vispy Kapadia Kyoshi in March 1981. [http://www.vispykapadia.com]

Mehul Vora also underwent training in Boxing, Judo and Kobudo during his school days, he was the Martial Arts federation of India men's Kata and Kumite National Champion in the black belt category for the years 1995 and 1996, he started his first dojo in 1996.Fact|date=June 2008

He was instrumental in the formation of the Nippon Budo Sogo International [ [http://www.martialart.in Japanese Martial Arts Society International India ] ] India's only Koryū martial arts federation in 1998, he was appointed as the NBSI president following its formation.

He is currently president of the National Krav Maga Federation India.
