Henry County is already home to the states largest sporting venue,
Atlanta Motor Speedway . Outside of Atlanta Motor Speedway the closest major sporting venue to Henry County isTurner Field home of theAtlanta Braves . The proposed Arena would bring Atlanta sports teams to Henry County, along with the current development of a 4,000 seat multipurpose arena and a 10,000 seat football stadium atStrong Rock Christian School only a few miles from the proposed South Point Arena. It is more questionable though, of how it would bring in other entertainment with four majorperforming art theater s in the immediate area, theClayton County Performing Arts Center a 2,000 seat theater, the Henry County Performing Arts Center a 750 seat theater and two new theaters at the new Strong Rock Christian School in Locust Grove, a 3,400 seat performing arts theater and a 3,200 seat amphitheater are currently in development.External links
