- Wrexham Evening Leader
The "Evening Leader" is a daily evening paper distributed on week nights. It combines local and national news in order to create an evening
newspaper .It costs 45 pence and is produced from Mold industrial site. It is owned by
North Wales Newspapers group and has a wide circulation. The paper has lent its name to a variety of campaigns and has given continual support to theWrexham F.C. On weekends, the Wrexham Leader is produced, which is a free edition, but it heavily laden with advertisements and commercials for local businesses.
There are three Evening Leader Papers in the north-east of
Wales and the borders:Chester ,Flintshire , andWrexham .On 3rd April 2006, the Leader underwent a style change, and changed its logo to a new, more modern style. The old font and style had been used since the newspaper began.
Yearly, a directory of local businesses is given out (around early April), called the Handy Pages.
