France 3 Alsace is one of the 13 regional stations of France 3, broadcasting in the Alsace region from its headquarters is Strasbourg. Broadcasting regional news, programmes and sport.

History

RTF Télé-Strasbourg began broadcasting on 15 October, 1953. In 1964, RTF was replaced with ORTF by the government, with RTF Télé-Strasbourg becoming ORTF Télé-Strasbourg.After the break-up of ORTF on 6 January 1975, ORTF Télé-Strasbourg becomes FR3 Alsace. Following the establishment of France Télévisions on 7 September, 1992, FR3 Alsace becomes France 3 Alsace.

France 3 Alsace broadcasts two regional news programmes, "France 3 Édition Strasbourg" for Bas-Rhin and "France 3 Haute-Alsace" for Haut-Rhin.

* "19/20 Rund Um": local news programme in Alsatian with French subtitles. Broadcast every day at 6:45 p.m.

* "7 jours en Alsace et Le Mag": news debate programme.

* "Sportshow": a weekly sport programme.
