The Catamarca Akodont ("Akodon leucolimnaeus") is a species of rodent in the Cricetidae family. It is found in northwest Argentina.

This mouse-like creature has gone through many changes in its classification. Originally believed to be "A. boliviensis", it was reassigned as a subspecies of "Necromys lactens" in 1932 by Gyldenstolpe then moved to the genus "Bolomys" by Reig in 1987 and is currently provisionally listed as a separate species of Akodon. Since this provisional listing in 1995 by Galliari and Pardiñas no further diagnoses have been performed.cite book|author=Wilson,Don E. & Reeder, DeeAnn M. eds.|year=2005|title=Mammal Species of the World.
