Will Rossellini

Will Rossellini

Will Rosellini (born July 11 1979 in San Antonio, Texas) is a former minor league baseball player in the Arizona Diamondbacks system. He is currently President and CEO of MicroTransponder, Inc., a company commercializing advanced medical devices for the treatment of neurological disease.

Baseball career

Rosellini was a member of the 1994 Silver Medal Junior Olympic Team. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1997 and was a member of the 1997 Bronze Medal Team USA team. Rosellini transferred to the University of Dallas and was drafted in the 16th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. After retiring from professional baseball, Rossellini enrolled in the University of Texas management program. Rossellini then was simultaneously enrolled at Hofstra University School of Law and Rutgers-New Jersey Institute of Technology's Master's of Computational Biology programs. During this time, Rossellini received numerous honors, including the Foley and Lardner Intellectual Property Writing Prize [http://www.foley.com/about/genpage.aspx?genpageID=000012283124] . His work was recognized by the Terasem Foundation and outlined in a Mock Trial in 2006 [http://www.terasemcentral.org/TL3/tl3mocktrial.html] . Rossellini is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program of Applied Cognition and Neuroscience at UTDallas and the Rice Nanoscale Physics Masters program.

Professional

He currently serves a President and CEO of MicroTransponder, Inc. The company is a University of Texas spin-out commercializing novel neuroprosthetics.
