Iona McIntyre (played by Claire Knight) is a fictional character in the BBC Scotland soap, "River City".
Iona followed her sister, Shona, to Shieldinch to support her other sister Roisin. She made her presence felt almost immediately by beginning an affair with the married Marty Green. When Marty tried to end their relationship, Iona came clean about the affair, with Marty's wife Ruth being less than impressed. Since then Iona has been keeping a lower profile, but managed to help Shona get off from her bigamy charge and is currently helping to run the "Montego Deli".
