Amado Magcalas Yuzon (born
August 30 ,1906 inMaquiapo ,Guagua ,Pampanga ,Philippines -January 17 ,1979 ) was a Philippine academic, journalist, and writer.Yuzon graduated from Pampanga High School San Fernando in 1925. He obtained a Master of Arts,
Master of Science in Business Administration, Ll. M, and Litt. D. He was a member of thePhilippine Bar Examination and professor at theFar Eastern University and at Quezon College inManila . Among his edited journals are "Ing Catuliran" and "La Libertad".From 1946 to 1949 Yuzon was congressman of the Philippine Congress, where he represented Pampanga.
Amado Yuzon was married to Oliva A. Reyes; they have three sons.
