Sean P. Healy is a multimedia artist based in Portland, Oregon [Speer, Richard. [http://www.wweek.com/editorial/3131/6386/] Willamette Week]

Healy’s work often explores the rationales of social power structures utilizing everything from chewing gum to resin, cigarette butts and large sliding glass doors. [Bovee, Katherine [http://www.portlandart.net/archives/2006/09/sean_healy_supe.html] PORT]

He is the youngest artist to have been awarded a General Services Administration Public Art Commission, and in 2006 completed a project for Thom Mayne’s federal courthouse [Jahn, Jeff. [http://www.portlandart.net/archives/2006/11/doing_a_lot_of.html Federal Courthouse] PORT] in Eugene, Oregon. His project for the FBI Headquarters in Houston, Texas is due to be finished in 2008 and will coincide with a solo show at the Betty Moody Gallery.
