Sarat Bose Road

Sarat Bose Road(Lansdowne Road) connects Southern Avenue or Dr, Meghnad Saha Road with Lower Circular Road,and is the road dividing two major localities of Ballygunge and Bhowanipore in South Kolkata.

Localities

Sarat Bose Road runs north to south almost parallel to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Road. It starts from the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium on the south ( in Ballygunge area) and moves almost vertically up intersecting other major thoroughfares like Rash Behari Avenue, proceeds up north with the famous Lansdowne Market on the left, then hits Hazra Road just up a few blocks from Ramkrishna Mission Seva Prathishthan, and finally winds it way through Rowland Row, Diocesan High School and ends after meeting Lower Circular Road.at Minto Park.
