Coláiste Aodáin

Coláiste Aodáin is a Gaeltacht Summer college situated in An Tuairín, An Cheathrú Rua, County Galway. Coláiste Aodáin was founded in 2007 to cater for students who wanted to learn Irish in one of the strongest Gaeltachts in the country.

It is located 35 km west of Galway city. The main focus of the course is on oral Irish and uses a student-centred communication-based system to enhance the students' ability in Irish. Both outdoor and indoor activities are an integral part of the course content with a focus on water sports and team games. Catering for students from 10 to 18 years old, the Gaeltacht experience is essential for any student intent on doing well in their Irish exams in the Leaving Certificate.^{[citation needed]}
