Yun Wang received a
bachelor's degree in physics fromTsinghua University inBeijing , after which she came to the United States and obtained her master's and doctorate (also in physics)Carnegie Mellon University . Currently Associate Professor in theUniversity of Oklahoma 's Department of Physics and Astronomy, she has published sixty-seven refereed papers, most recently specializing on probing thedark energy in the universe, with particular attention to the use ofsupernovae andgalaxy redshift surveys as cosmological probes, studies of theCosmic microwave background anisotropy, and the measurement of cosmological parameters.She is notably active as the Principal Investigator of the
