Jee-Yun Lee

Jee-Yun Lee is a TV personality and a Consumer Specialist on Citytv in Toronto. She can be seen on CityNews at 6 and CityNews Tonight (weekdays), as well as on CP24. She has hosted "Home Page" for most of the time since Amber MacArthur's departure.

Biography

Originally from South Korea, Jee-Yun moved to Canada with her family at the age of one. She was raised in Toronto and earned her bachelor of arts degree at the University of Toronto. Following the advice of a reporter whom she had met through an acquaintance, Jee-Yun decided to pursue a career in journalism and enrolled in Humber College's graduate program. Her first experiences in the business were as the reporter and photographer for the school's newspaper, "Humber EtCetera".

After interning at "The Dini Petty Show", Jee-Yun landed her first job at CICC-TV (CTV) in Yorkton, Saskatchewan where she did everything from reporting and anchoring, to the weather and producing. She returned to Ontario in 1997 as a general assignment reporter at CHCH-TV in Hamilton and performed several roles, including that of legislative reporter at Queen's Park and health reporter/anchor.

Jee-Yun joined the Citytv team as Consumer Specialist in 2002.

In 2008, she appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Camp Rock", and the film "The Incredible Hulk" as a news reporter.
