Malaysia national under-20 football team (also known as Young Tigers or Malaysia Under-20 or Malaysia U-20 ) represents Malaysia in international football competitions such as AFC Youth Championship, Champions Youth Cup and also as club team in Malaysia Premier League known as Harimau Muda (Young Tigers), as well as any other under-20 international football tournaments. It is controlled by the Football Association of Malaysia.

Formation

The team is considered to be the feeder team for the Malaysia U-23 and senior national football teams. It is for players aged 20 and less. On October 19, 2007 FAM decided to include Malaysia U-20 as one of the team in Malaysia Premier League 2007-08 and will be known as "Harimau Muda" (Young Tigers).
