Modern structural fire helmets

Modern structural fire helmets

Modern structural Helmet are head gear worn by firefighters in the United States and Canada, as well as Britain and Hong Kong.

In North America, they replaced the Traditional Leather fire helmets and Merryweather helmets in Britain (as well as Hong Kong).

The structural helmets are made of either thermoplastic or composite material. The rear of the helmet is longer than the front and a face shield is usually attached to the front.
