The school focuses on developing the talents of students in a supportive, safe and inclusive environment. The diversity in student population and the opportunity this provides to enhance cross-cultural understanding is regarded as one of its strengths.
Named after Mahatma Gandhi, the school community emulates and practises Gandhian philosophy. The school is a place of learning where we expand our capacity to create and achieve the results we truly desire. The teaching staff are committed, dedicated and highly qualified, and provide educational leadership through their participation in professional associations and various educational work groups.
Collaboration over individualism is practised so that a climate of trust develops where students and teachers support each other and pool as well as share resources. The school is a centre of learning where desired changes are encouraged and supported by all. It inculcates a culture of reading, research, collaborative planning, teamwork, creativity and critical thinking. We believe in themes involving interdependence, mutuality, cooperation and dedication to enhance learning.
The school fosters genuine partnership with all stakeholders to promote quality learning, achievement of excellence and a development culture. Each individual walks and talks the school’s vision, mission, motto and philosophy and is proud to be part of the MGM family.
Many of our students have become successful leaders in their various fields and in the community. Students at the school are provided opportunities for optimum growth and achievement through leadership training, shared decision making and empowerment.
