Hyundai Lambda engine

The Hyundai Lambda engine family is the company's modern all-aluminum V6. It is manufactured at Hyundai's HMMA plant in Montgomery, Alabama.

G6DB

The 3.3 L G6DB version was introduced with the 2006 Sonata. It produces 237-249 hp (173 kW) at 6000 rpm and 230 ft·lbf (304 N·m) at 3500 rpm.

In the Hyundai Genesis this engine makes up to convert|264|hp|abbr=on.

The G6DB has an aluminum block and heads, variable valve timing on the intake side, and 4 valves per cylinder. Bore is 92.0 mm (3.6 in) and stroke is 83.8 mm (3.3 in) for a total displacement of 3342 cc.

The 3.8 L (3778 cc) version produces 265 PS (196 kW) (convert|312|hp|abbr=on in the Genesis Coupe) and 258 ft·lbf (353 Nm). It has a convert|96.0|mm|in|1|abbr=on bore and convert|87.0|mm|in|1|abbr=on stroke.

The Genesis variant of this engine makes convert|300|hp|abbr=on.
