Roke Knoll

Roke Knoll

In Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea series of novels, Roke Knoll is a hill near the center of the island of Roke, the headquarters of wizardry. It is a focus of magical power, being described as "a place where all things appear as they truly are". They say the roots of the hill go all the way down to the center of the earth.
