Shirogane tunnel

The Shirogane tunnel located in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan is, according to urban legend, the "shinigami’s" (Japanese god of death [similar to the grim reaper] ) gateway to the spiritual world. There have been sightings of unclear figures, visible for only a flash, standing in the middle of the road, and screaming faces have been seen silhouetted in the pillars of the tunnel. Some say the faces represent the lives of the victims he has taken, though others say the faces are "shinigami’s" own trying to scare away unwanted people. Some even believe they have seen "shinigami", cold and evil, crossing gateways to the spirit world.
