Crystal Rain is the debut novel of Caribbean writer Tobias S. Buckell. Buckell calls it his "caribbean steampunk novel". Although a stand-alone novel, Buckell's books Ragamuffin and Sly Mongoose are set in the same universe with some recurring characters.
