"Treubia" is a genus of liverworts in the family Treubiaceae. [Crandall-Stotler, Barbara. & Stotler, Raymond E. (2000). "Morphology and classification of the Marchantiophyta". pages 21-70 "in" A. Jonathan Shaw & Bernard Goffinet (eds.), "Bryophyte Biology". (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press). ISBN 0-521-66097-1] There are six species, all of which are restricted to the southern hemisphere. Five of the species occur in Australasiacite book | last = Schuster | first = Rudolf M. | date = 1992 | title = The Hepaticae and Anthocerotae of North America | edition = Volume 5 | pages = 332-333 | isbn = 0-914-86820-9 ] and the other ("Treubia scapanioides") occurs in Chile. All species are dioicous, with separate male and female gametophytes.
