Sheetal Mallar (born on April 23, 1974) is an Indian super model from Mumbai. She dominated the Indian modeling for a decade.

She won the Femina Look of the Year in 1994 beating Madhu Sapre and Elite Look of the Year, 1994. She won the contest because of her highly photogenic face, flawless skin and radiant hair.

Early life

Sheetal was born to Vassanti Mallar and her father was a lawyer. She was raised in a liberal household, her parents hail from Padubidri, Mangalore.

She went to Canossa Convent, Mumbai. She pursued B.Com at Sydenham College, Mumbai, but discontinued in her third Year.

Career

She was discovered by the ace photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha for a Jewelry assignment. She was placed among the 12 finalists in the Elite supermodel contest held in the same year and worked for Armani and Fendi.
