Bachatsky ( _ru. Бачатский) is an urban-type settlement in Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, located km to mi|190 south-east of Kemerovo, on the border of Salair Ridge and Kuznetsk Basin, between the Bolshoy (Chernovoy) Bachat and Maly (Stepnoy) Bachat Rivers. Bachatsky is under administrative jurisdiction of the town of Belovo, located km to mi|16 to the north. Population: 14,990 (2002 Census); 13,365 (1989 Census). Area: km2 to mi2|19. It was founded on August 10, 1954. The main industry is coal mining.
