- Ekityki River
The Ekityki River (or Ekittyki River) is a stream located in
Chukotka , in Far East Siberia. It flows from Central Chukotka, across theEkityki Lake into the right side of theChantalveergyn River , a left-hand tributary of theAmguyema River .The Ekityki River flows through the sparsely populated areas of the Eastern Siberian
tundra .Salmon ,whitefish ,vendace ,grayling , pike, rainbow herring (northwestern smelt),burbot ,bull trout andloach are common in its waters.This river belongs to the
Chukotka Autonomous Okrug administrative region ofRussia .The easternmost remains of
wooly rhinoceros es (Coelodonta antiquitatis) have been found in the Ekityki river basin.References
