James Saxon (born March 23, 1966 in Beaufort, South Carolina) is a former American football running back who played eight seasons in the National Football League. He played college football for San Jose State University. Saxon is currently the running backs coach for the Miami Dolphins. He is the father of Harvard bound quarterback Devin Saxon.
