Japan eserailway line inMie Prefecture , betweenKawarada Station , Yokkaichi andTsu Station , Tsu. This is the only railway line nihongo|Ise Railway|伊勢鉄道|Ise Tetsudō operates. The company is called for short as nihongo|Isetetsu|伊勢鉄. Thethird sector company took formerJapanese National Railways line in1987 . The line was originally built as a short cut route between Nagoya and southKii Peninsula (Kisei Main Line ). As such,Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) limited express trains "Nanki " and rapid train "Mie" still go through the line, being primary revenue streams of Ise Railway. The line also transported spectators when the nearbySuzuka Circuit had theJapanese Grand Prix of F1 race. Local trains, on the other hand, have disappointing riderships, as the nearbyKintetsu Nagoya Line has much more frequent services.Basic data
