Overview
New Jersey itself is a peninsula. It has water on three sides, The

Since the
Delaware River goes further north than the New Jersey/New York border and theHudson River is to the east of it, the peninsula can be conisdered to include theSouthwest Hudson Valley and include cities likeNewburgh andMiddletown . Including such sections ofSouthern New York make the peninsula 350 km long. Such geological evidence could change the name from New Jersey Peninsula to New Jersey/ Southern New York Peninsula.
