GAN (Enviornmental): Focuses on enviornmental issues such as recycling and water use, by promoting awareness. The club has recently begun selling re-usable Nalgene waterbottles.Student Council*: Focuses on student-body related issues such as the cafeteria line and library policies. This club holds the annual Welcome-Back Luau, Unity Day, Talent Show and "Mr. Lincoln" Beauty Pageant. "Members must be elected."GAN (Human Rights): Focuses on humanitarian issues related to human rights violations. This club organizes high-school wide letter writing campaigns each semester.Model United Nations (MUN)*: Focuses on international concerns, and discusses possible solutions in the style of the UN. This club attends a conferance in Brasil each year.National Honor Society*: Focuses on community service both within and outside the school. This club sponsors MTV Night, the Christmas Toy Drive, and other, service-related projects each year. Detention
There has been a recent spike in the amounts of detentions. Stricter policies on tardiness, bookbag placement, and so on have come into effect. The Board of Directors is considering extending school days each Friday to 4:45 pm in light of the number of students receiving punishment.
