= Career Outline =

Glen first showed signs of his talent in 1984, where at the age of 25 he became "Australian Amateur Snooker Champion". Turning professional in 1985, Glen decided he would move to England and see how he fared with the best players in the world, in which he had moderate success and reached #91 in the world.

Returning back to Australia in 1990, Glen found it hard to get back into the winning circle until 1999 when he won The Rooty Hill Masters, WPBSA South Pacific (Oceania) Snooker Championships and The NSW Open Snooker in the same year. Glen also had another good year in 2000 where he successfully defended both his Rooty Hill and The NSW Open Titles.

(Glen also managed to win The NSW Open in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 & 2007).

From 2001 till 2004, Glen would only manage to win his state title until 2005 where he won The Central Coast Leagues Club Classic.

In 2006 at the age of 47, Glen would have one of his best years, with titles including:
*2006 Winner Australian Masters
*2006 Runner Up IBSF World Masters
*2006 Runner Up Central Coast Classic
*2006 Runner Up Fred Osbourne Memorial Snooker
*2006 Semi Finalist Kings Australia

Age is no boundary for Glen Wilkinson, the "wiser" he gets, the better he plays. In 2007 Glen has had his all-time best year winning:
*1: Australian Open Champion
*2: Australian National Champion
*3: Australian Masters Champion
*4: NSW Champion
*5: #1 Ranked Australian Player on the ranking list.
