"Stereotype Be" is Kevin Max's debut album as a solo artist. The album blends progressive rock, world music—particularly Middle Eastern—spoken word, traditional pop, and spiritual lyrics.

"Stereotype Be" was not a commercial success in the United States. Max cites that this is probably due to his associations with his band dc Talk, a CCM group that also had a contract with ForeFront Records.Fact|date=July 2007 Max has since parted ways with ForeFront.
