Israeli settlement located in the southernWest Bank area ofJudea , west ofKiryat Arba , and under the jurisdiction of theHar Hebron Regional Council .The
village was established in1982 as a pioneerNahal military outpost and demilitarized only a year later when turned over to residential purposes in the form of a non-religiousmoshav with the assistance of the Amana settlement organization. In 2004, a group of about twenty religious families joined the village in order to strengthen and build a mixed community. In the centre of the village, a beit midrash was established and named the 'Netivot Dror Yeshiva' in memory of Dror Weinberg, anIsrael Defence Forces armycolonel , as of 2007, the highest rankingIsrael i soldier to be killed in theSecond Intifada .External links
