The Oasis Centre, Birmingham

The Oasis Centre (also known as "The Oasis" or "The Oasis Market") is a shopping centre in the centre of Birmingham, England. It is home to a variety of alternative fashion and in its heydayClarifyme|date=September 2008 was regarded as the home of true independent retail in Birmingham.Fact|date=September 2008

There are several entrances into The Oasis - two in Priory Square and the another on Corporation Street. It is divided into five inter-linked levels, connected by a number of stairways and corridors, the walls of which are covered in various posters and flyers.

It was first established in 1972 and has continued running to the present day. However, the proposed Martineau Galleries development is scheduled to occupy the location.
