Barbara Bogaev

Barbara Bogaev was the co-host of the public radio program "Weekend America" from 2004 through 2006. Previously she served as the substitute host of the popular National Public Radio program "Fresh Air" with Terry Gross.

On December 5, 2006, a memo [ [http://www.laobserved.com/archive/2006/12/upheaval_at_weekend_ameri.php LA Observed: Upheaval at 'Weekend America' ] ] was circulated at "Weekend America" announcing that Bogaev was leaving the show. On December 9, 2006 her former co-host, Bill Radke, announced that Bogaev was leaving "this weekend". No specifics were given regarding the program or for Bogaev in that announcement.
