Rusty Glover is a Republican member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 34th District since 2007. Previously he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2003 through 2006.

Biography

Rusty Glover was born April 17, 1966 in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from B.C. Rain High School in Mobile. After graduation he attended the University of South Alabama, where he received an MA in History, a M.Ed. in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. He currently teaches at Mary G. Montgomery High School in Semmes, AL, where he lives with his wife, Connie, and two daughters, Katie and Kellie. He is a member of Wilmer First Baptist Church in Wilmer, AL.

Rusty is a member of Alabama Eagle Forum, Alabama Republican Assembly, Christian Educators of America, Gideons International, Mobile County Republican Century Club, National Rifle Association, and the University of South Alabama Alumni Association.

Rusty began his 1st term in the Alabama State Senate in January, 2007.
