OPMAS

OPMAS an electronic prescribing system used in the management of chemotherapy and related cancer treatments. The system uses protocol based prescribing of chemotherapy drugs often linked to NICE guidance.

Originally designed by Jeremy Cummin, Managing Director of Eider Computers Limited in 1988, the product was first installed at the Middlesex Hospital in London in the late 1980's and was adopted extensively in the UK, as well as in many countries in Europe. OPMAS is now supported by iSoft.
