1991 , he won the CKSB Phonogramme competition for best original French-language song in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario and the title of best singer-songwriter at the [http://www.100nons.com/gala.php Gala manitobain de la chanson] , which took place in Winnipeg.Five years later, in
1996 , he won best singer-songwriter at the [http://www.culturel.sk.ca/programmes/artistique/gala_fransaskois/index.htm Gala fransaskois de la chanson] in Regina, Saskatchewan. At the Gala interprovincial de l'Ouest (now called [http://www.radio-canada.ca/regions/chantouest/ Chant’Ouest] ) in June of the same year, he won "audience favourite," the French press award and the SOCAN award for best song.He is a founding member of The [http://www.rainbowharmonyproject.ca/ Rainbow Harmony Project] (1999).
