Mission

In recent years, the emissions from mobile sources have been identified as the source of over 75 percent of southern California’s air pollution. The EXPO was created to facilitate the interaction between the end user and the policy makers, in the hopes that quicker and more effective solutions could be discussed and implemented. In that vein, the EXPO utilizes a format that maximizes interaction between Southern California’s construction and trucking fleets, port terminal operators, alternative/clean fuel vehicle and infrastructure technology providers, funding agencies, and other industry experts to interact and share information on grants, tax credits, policies and regulations.

Known as the “one of the few venues available for public and private fleets to interact with all three pieces of the puzzle: regulatory agencies, funding sources and technology providers”, the EXPO opens its doors every October and showcases the latest and cleanest technologies available on the market, provides concise and clear breakdowns of the regulations coming down the pipeline, as well as providing an abundance of information about how fleets can take advantage of the millions of dollars available in grants, tax incentives and through private funding organizations.
