Aida Delgado-Colon

Aida Delgado-Colon (b. 1955, Lares, Puerto Rico) is a former United States Magistrate who was appointed by President George W. Bush as a United States District Judge for the District of Puerto Rico in 2005. Her nomination was endorsed both by Resident Commissioner and Republican National Committeeman Luis Fortuño as well as Democratic National Committeeman and Puerto Rico Senate President Kenneth McClintock.

She is only the second female on the bench in the District of Puerto Rico, after pioneering District Judge and former Chief Judge Carmen Consuelo Vargas, who has served for nearly three decades.
