Baral

Baral is a surname of more than one hundred thousand Nepalis who are members of the chetriya, brahmin and magar castes.

According to tradition, the first Baral was "Jyabhdra", or "Jyanta" Baral, a ruler in the Balmiki Rishi dynasty. Balmiki was a chetriya, who became a Brahmin by meditation and contribution.
