David Strachan (died 1671) was a seventeenth-century Church of Scotland prelate. Originating in a branch of the house of Thorntoun in the Mearns, he opted for a career in the church and became parson of Fettercairn. In 1662, after the Restoration of the monarchy, episcopacy was restored in the Church of Scotland and Strachan was appointed Bishop of Brechin. He was consecrated on June 1, 1662. He held the position until his death in 1671.
