"The Family of Pascual Duarte" (orig. Spanish "La Familia de Pascual Duarte") is a 1942 novel written by the Spanish born Nobel laureate Camilo José Cela.
Plot
It tells the story of Pascual Duarte, who is about to be executed for murder.Pascual shares his story about his family life and his homicidal past before he got into jail.He says the Fate is controlling his life and that whatever he does it won't change.
