Previous = 1971The 1972 Camel GT Challenge season was the 2nd season of the IMSA GT Championship auto racing series. It was comprised of Grand Tourer-style racing cars which ran in the GTO and GTU classes, as well as touring cars in TO and TU classes. It began December 4, 1971 and ended November 19, 1972 after ten rounds.
