Yoko Horiuchi

is a Japanese model mainly working in Japan. Horiuchi has belonged exclusively to a fashion magazine "CanCam", which is the highest sales female fashion magazine in Japan, since she was a college student. She has been hired by a talent agency Pearl that also manages Yuri Ebihara and Moe Oshikiri who are super popular fashion models in Japan.

Biography

*Horiuchi has been graduated from Hokusyo University located in Hokkaidō in 2004. When she was a college student, she was scouted by a local model agency while walking in a shopping mall. After that she worked not only as a model but also as a TV reporter before belonging with "CanCam".

*Because Horiuchi became a model of CanCam after only few months from her debut, she is sometimes called "Cinderella girl". Despite this, she was a short and plump girl when she was a child. Once going to a junior high school, her height had grown to 5.3, and being slender figure resulted from soft tennis. Incidentally, her current height, 5.5, is the lowest line of Japanese fashion models.

*When she attended the university, she came to Tokyo in case of every working.

*According to an interview, she said that actually she was not good at performing in front of everybody, so she had gotten a lot of troubles in the beginning.

*She has been Canada in order to study English for several months. Additionally, Moe Oshikiri and her stick together with the same interests of English.

*She thinks about herself as a little bit devil's advocate.

*She is into playing sports and exercise, especially riding a bicycle. Plus, she is very good at horseback riding and calligraphy. Her routine customs are watching movies and listening to music.

*Although her home town, Hokkaidō, is a very cold region, she really does not like a cold climate.

*Her best friend is Maimi Okuwa who is also a model for CanCam. Enough that they often travel together.
