Vanguard Group (anarchist)

The Vanguard Group was an anarchist political group active during the 1930s, which published the periodical "", led by Sam Dolgoff (aka Sam Weiner, editor of Vanguard).

Vanguard was for a time during the 1930s the only English language anarchist organization in New York City to carry out an active existence. [Avrich, Paul. "Anarchist Voices: An Oral History of Anarchism in America", 1995.]
