Mike Gray is a writer, screenwriter, cinematographer, film producer and director.

Career
Film and TV
Gray co-wrote the screenplay for the 1979 nuclear thriller The China Syndrome. Earlier in his career he directed and produced two documentaries on radical politics in Chicago, American Revolution 2 (1969) and The Murder of Fred Hampton (1971). He went on to produce several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, among other TV and film credits. He was also a second unit director on the 1993 film The Fugitive.
Books
Gray is the author or editor of five books: The Warning on the Three Mile Island accident, Angle of Attack, on the Apollo program, Drug Crazy and Busted, on the war on drugs, and The Death Game, on capital punishment.
Personal life
He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Carol, a reporter for public radio. His son, Lucas, is a storyboard artist for The Simpsons.
