Counterproductive norms

Counterproductive Norms (as in Group Dynamics) is a situation that prevents a group, organization, or other collective entities from performing or accomplishing its originally stated function. This condition stems from multiple causes. Each group dynamic is unique and often a group may suffer from more than one of the causes.
